We were delighted to see the Bay of Plenty Times feature our 2 Devonport Rd, Tauranga project last weekend. As the Architects and Interior Designers for the building and for Craigs Investment Partners new workplace - described here as their “World Office” - we are honoured to be spearheading this alongside the local developers and incredible group of consultants. It’s been a five-year journey to get to this very exciting point. During this time, the Wingate team have been passionate about ensuring that the design process has followed our principles in sustainability and acknowledgement of the local community. From the very beginning, these values have guided our approach to ensure that we deliver a project that adds huge value to the regeneration and redevelopment of the Tauranga CBD. We are very proud to be playing our part in this process and are excited about the future direction of Tauranga. Our engagement with the local community has been essential in ensuring this site weaves the stories of Tauranga Moana into the very fabric of this development. Reflecting a strong sense of place in both the exterior and interior of the building that celebrates the contextual uniqueness which will provide a gathering place and an anchor for the wider city and community. We look forward to continuing this transformational project, updating you as we go and to seeing the new building and workplaces appear as we approach completion in 2024.
